In Greek mythology Goddess Persephone was frolicking in the fields picking narcissus flowers, when the mighty god, Hades, emerged from the depths of the earth and took her to the Underworld. We have captured the innocent, childlike and playful essence of Persephone in a limited edition original sculpt. Standing 14 1/5’ tall with deep violet eyes and youthful-freckled features, Persephone doll wears a white tea-length toga with indigo fluted decorated edges and an indigo over-jacket with a shawl. Her strawberry blond locks are highlighted with a wreath of narcissus flowers and her feet are dressed in faux-leather sandals. Her necklace is an elegant gold pomegranate, a symbol of inner guidance, on a gold chain. For reference: As an actual woman, she would be approximately 5’0’’ and a size 6.
